Venue shapes the design. Square footage and layout decide how much garland you need, where it can anchor, and whether you're building a freestanding arch or hanging something from exposed beams. A ballroom with drop ceilings and smooth walls opens up different options than a warehouse space with rafters — and that difference shows up in your quote before it shows up in the room.

Event type shapes the palette. Weddings tend to run multi-color, with arches and table pieces layered together. Corporate events usually pull toward a tighter, branded scheme with a simpler backdrop. Birthdays and baby showers sit in between, often bringing in a themed shape or character element that needs its own lead time to source.

HOW THE PRICES ACTUALLY RUNS

Whether you're doing it yourself or handing it off, the clock starts the same way: with an order and a set of details.

ORDERING

Reach out four to eight weeks ahead for most events. Weddings, holiday parties, graduations, and large corporate gatherings do better with two to three months of runway, since custom palettes and specialty shapes take longer to source. The more you can hand over up front such as the date, venue address, color palette, inspiration photos, etc., the more accurate your first quote will be.

SHIPPING

Deliveries generally land in 2–5 days. Businesses receive shipments Monday through Friday; residential addresses run Tuesday through Saturday. If you're hosting at home, that Saturday cutoff matters for your planning window.

SETUP

Most mid-sized installs take two to five hours on site, depending on how complex the design is and how easy the venue is to access. Narrow doorways, stairs, or a tight load-in window all add time. Takedown, if you want it included, runs another thirty minutes to two hours.

MATERIALS

Standard latex is affordable and holds up fine indoors. Texas summer heat calls for weather-resistant, treated balloons that won't go flat within a few hours — and those cost more.

CUSTOMIZATION

Pre-designed kits ship fast because the materials are already sourced. A brand-matched Pantone palette or a bespoke color scheme needs custom ordering, which adds both days and dollars.
