From a fifteen-foot garland at your sweetheart table to a full-room installation that your guests walk into and stop talking for a second. We plan it around your venue, build it on-site, and take it all down!
How the process works

FOUR CONVOS, ONE INSTALL

Nothing about your day happens off a template. Designs are typically finalized two to six weeks after your first consultation. Depending on the complexity, you should book early during peak wedding season to secure your date and leave room for real design collaboration.

Consultation

We listen to your vision, wedding date, venue layout, and color scheme.

Design proposal

A custom mockup, not a generic template. Balloon placement, garland dimensions, and structural elements built for your actual space.

Pre-event coordination

We confirm setup timeline, venue access, electrical needs if applicable, and any restrictions from your venue or caterer.

Setup & takedown

Our team arrives three to six hours ahead, and even earlier for larger weddings or multiple locations. We then build on-site, and handle the full takedown after, so quality control stays in one set of hands.

4 THINGS THAT DECIDE WHAT'S POSSIBLE

Most of the "can we do this?" questions trace back to one of these:

Venue constraints

Ceiling height decides whether we hang or stay grounded. Wall material decides whether adhesive works or we need another anchor.

Guest flow & sightlines

Guest flow and sightlines are often overlooked by couples. The placement of garlands, arches, or installations in relation to ceremony seating, photo backdrops, and cocktail areas affects whether décor enhances or obstructs key moments.

Weather & timing

Outdoor balloon installations are carefully evaluated based on weather conditions, with sustained winds above fifteen to twenty miles per hour or extreme summer temperatures often requiring design modifications, additional structural support, or alternative installation locations to ensure the safest and most reliable outcome based on the forecast.

Other vendors

Caterers, florists, and AV teams may need clear space or have setup sequences that influence when balloon installation occurs, so advance communication avoids day-of conflicts.

Choosing scale & style

FROM ONE GARLAND TO A FULL ROOM

Garland vs. full installation

A 15-foot garland reads perfectly as a ceremony backdrop or sweetheart table accent. A 2,000–3,000 sq. ft. ballroom, on the other hand, is usually complemented by 50–100 feet of garland or one large statement piece paired with smaller accents

Latex vs. foil

Solid colors read clean and classic, ombré gradients add movement, mixed metallics add shine. Foil holds up longer than latex-only builds, which is important if your event runs long or we're setting up the day before.

Inflatables & accents

Oversized numbers, letters, and shapes add personality, but they need secure anchoring and more time on-site, which is good to flag early rather than add in on a rush timeline.

DIY kits vs. full service

A pre-made kit suits a couple who enjoys the setup itself and wants to save on labor. Full-service is for zero setup stress. Very useful when the timeline is tight, like welcome parties or farewell brunches.

Cost & Timeline

WHAT MOVES THE PRICE

Installation size directly impacts material and labor hours. Linear footage of garland, the number of arches or columns, and ceiling coverage all contribute to the scope. Material choices matter: foil balloons cost more than latex but last longer and resist weather better, while premium finishes like chrome or pearl increase per-balloon cost. Complexity and custom elements raise both time and skill requirements. Designs needing structural rigging, multiple color gradients, or integrated inflatables take longer to build and require more experienced hands.

Booking proximity affects both availability and flexibility. Rush bookings within 2-3 weeks may incur expedited fees or limit design options due to material availability, while advance bookings allow more time for sourcing and ease pressure on the designer's schedule. Comprehensive services, including custom balloon installations, event styling, and on-site setup and takedown, mean the final cost reflects design complexity, material selection, and labor hours rather than outsourced markup. Starting prices for custom balloon décor typically begin around $650, with the final amount scaling based on the factors above.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Can you work with my venue's color restrictions or décor theme?

Yes. Custom design consultation includes reviewing your venue's existing palette, any outlined restrictions, and the overall aesthetic you're creating. The designer sources balloons to match or complement your color scheme, whether that's matching bridesmaid dresses, floral arrangements, or a specific Pantone shade chosen for invitations and signage.

How far in advance do I need to book to get my preferred wedding date?

Custom balloon installations typically require 2-4 weeks lead time for design consultation and material sourcing, depending on complexity and wedding date proximity. Peak wedding season (spring and summer) fills quickly, so booking earlier offers more design flexibility and ensures your preferred date is available.

What happens if weather changes on my wedding day and I need to move the ceremony indoors?

The designer collaborates with you on a contingency plan during pre-event coordination. If your venue has both outdoor and indoor spaces, the design proposal can include backup placement options. Day-of adjustments depend on how much notice you have and whether the indoor space has similar anchoring options, but having a plan in place before the event reduces last-minute stress.

Do you provide a design mockup or photo before the wedding so I know what to expect?

Yes. The design proposal includes a custom mockup or detailed plan showing balloon placement, garland dimensions, and structural elements tailored to your space. This visual gives you a clear picture of what the installation will look like in your actual venue, not just a generic photo from another event.

Can I add or change the balloon design after I've already booked, and is there an extra charge?

Design updates are welcome whenever possible as event plans often evolve, and the team will do its best to accommodate changes before production begins. Depending on the timing and scope of the revisions, additional costs may apply for added materials, labor, or custom elements, with updated pricing always reviewed before moving forward.
